Sandeep Shrivastava - 1980 Batch

Sandeep Shrivastava is the Managing Partner of Indus Capital in Seattle, and also the current President of TiE Seattle. Indus Capital focuses exclusively on Indian equity investments in technology, infrastructure, real estate and retail sectors. Prior to founding Indus Capital, Sandeep was the President of Rediff ValuCom in Chicago, a consumer telecom company he co-founded and later sold to Rediff (NASDAQ: REDF) in 2001. Previous to that, Sandeep spent about five years at AT&T (previously SBC Ameritech) in various senior management positions in product management, strategic planning and business development. Sandeep also has extensive brand management, strategy, and leadership experience at General Mills, Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Dupont Corporation and CCMWA.

Sandeep is an alumnus of Clemson University (MS), The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (MBA) and the Stanford Business School (SEP). He holds a Bachelor's in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, India.
